O glorious Patriarch, Ignatius of Loyola,
By your example,
lead me to seek and find God in all things;
Teach me to converse with God,
that I might discern
the path of consolation that leads to Him.
By your inspiration,
bring the bold confidence
to pursue a saintly devotion
in all my undertakings,
and inflame my heart
that I may go forth
and set the world on fire with zeal.
By your prayer,
obtain for me
the sense to hear
and the perseverance to heed
God’s will for my life,
and help me dedicate my efforts
to the greater glory of God
and the salvation of man.
